Environmental Protection Agency officials are in the process of determining what the renewable fuel volume obligations under the RFS will be for 2017. EPA Agricultural Advisor Ron Carleton says they’re currently going over a large amount of information with their review process.

He says those RVO levels should be out by the end of this month.

Carleton says they’re also reviewing the pesticide, Atrazine and hope to have a preliminary assessment out before the end of 2016.

He says they’ve received a lot of comments from the National Corn Growers Association which wants to see Atrazine re registered.
