The Viborg-Hurley School District is among six in the state getting grants from the Environmental Protection Agency for new electric and diesel busses.

Mellum says they now have seven busses that drive average routes of forty to fifty miles a day.

Other districts that got grants include: Hanson County, DeSmet, Garretson, Lower Brule and Sioux Valley in Volga.
