EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt says the agency is working on several regulations impacting the ethanol industry. He says he is looking at the Reid Vapor Pressure rule to determine if he has the authority to grant the waiver to allow E15 sales year-round.

He says the agency is also going to get back on schedule in releasing the Renewable Fuels Standard volumes.

However, Pruitt could not speculate if EPA was going to make changes to the Point of Obligation in the RFS because they are still in the review phase.

Pruitt says the agency’s agenda is to use sound science and cost analysis with every new regulation as well as those on the books.
