The South Dakota Board of Regents says fall enrollment at the six state universities is down about two percent in full time students.
Total headcount at the schools was thirty five thousand seven hundred thirty seven, down nine hundred twenty five students from last fall.
Regents President Keven Schieffer says it is not a good trend…
Schieffer says they are looking at a number of solutions..
Schieffer says they continue to work on the basics of attracting students to their facilities..
USD saw a decline of about two percent, while enrollment at SDSU was down over three percent. Dakota State was the only school with a gain, at just over two percent.
