End of Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project Coming into Sight

Construction on the Lewis & Clark Regional Water system has been underway for fourteen years, and members are now getting an idea of the endpoint.

Executive Director Troy Larson says they have made more progress in recent years…..

Larson says their timeline will depend on stable federal funding…..

Larson says they developed the time line to help their members plan for the future connection…..

The project pipes water to their members in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota from wells near the Missouri River south of Vermillion. Their water treatment plant is located north of Vermillion.
