Employers Looking for More Than Technical Skills

A survey of employers shows they need more than technical skills from their applicants.

Nancy Wenande, C.E.O. of Yankton Area Progressive growth says a survey shows the top three skills employers are looking for are: motivation, interpersonal abilities and time management.
She says some of that involves retraining….

Wenande says there are ways to motivate prospective workers….

Wenande says as job vacancies fill, more people may stick with their current employers….

During the quarterly meeting of YAPG, Wenande said there are over eight hundred open jobs in Yankton County.
