The South Dakota Public Utilities Commission may decide Thursday on an electric rate hike request from Northwestern Energy.
PUC Chairman Chris Nelson says all the major parties in the cases have reached a tentative agreement on the increase. Northwestern had requested just over twenty six million dollars, but the settlement calls for a hike of just over twenty million dollars……
Nelson says larger power users objected to the initial rate increase……….
