The bill calls for around $1.5 million of the more than $6.6 million the state is eligible for. Minnesota was one of 21 states whose election systems were targeted by Russian hackers in 2016. The efforts were unsuccessful in Minnesota. The Democrat-led House is expected to approve the full funding amount.
