Now, the election results may halt that process before it begins.
President-elect Donald Trump said many times during the campaign that the Affordable Care Act should be repealed and replaced. The money for Medicaid expansion comes from the Affordable Care Act.
Democratic Senator Billie Sutton of Burke has been pushing for the expansion for some time, which he says would help a lot of people…
Sutton says the plan proposed by the Governor made a lot of sense…..
Sutton says Members of Congress could be in a difficult position if they repeal the Affordable Care Act….
Details of the expansion plan may have been set to be released in the Governor’s budget speech next month.
