Forecasters are now telling us they don’t think an El Nino will develop in the Pacific Ocean. That is warming of the sea surface that has a major impact on weather in North America.
Aaron Wilson, a climate specialist at Ohio State University, led this months Central Region weather update. He says the computer models are coming into agreement…..
Wilson says they have more confidence in the summer temperature forecasts….
Wilson says they expect warmer conditions overall through the summer….
The lack of an El Nino could mean normal temperatures and precipitation for next winter into spring of 2018.
