As the state begins the process of testing all nursing home and assisted living center residents this week, it points out the isolation many have been under for weeks due to the pandemic.

Doug Ekeren, President of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, says it is a difficult situation….

Ekeren says staff and families have been creative in trying to break the isolation….
