Early voting starts in South Dakota this Friday, and many voters take advantage of that. Secretary of State Shantel Krebs says about twenty-five percent of the vote in 2014 came early.
The political parties are changing strategy to match that vote pattern.
Ryan Budmayr is Executive Director of the South Dakota Republican Party……….

Budmayr says candidates also have to be ready to have a late campaign push…

While republicans have far more legislative candidates then the democrats, Budmayr says they are prepared to help those candidates that may be in a tight race….

Republicans also have incumbents in the three statewide races for the US Senate, US House and state Public Utilities Commission.
