Early voter turnout continues to be strong in Minnesota ahead of the August primary and mid-term elections.

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon says that’s likely due to the closeness of several races in both the Democratic and Republican parties. And also because of “no excuse” absentee voting which makes it easier to cast a ballot ahead of the election.
