South Dakota State’s top scorer and rebounder Jordan Dykstra has earned first team All Summit League honors in men’s basketball.
Two of Dykstra’s SDSU teammates were named to the second team. A pair of University of South Dakota players gained honorable mention.
A senior from Rock Valley, Iowa, Dykstra leads the Jackrabbits, and ranks second in The Summit League, with 16.4 points per game and leads all players in the league with 7.7 rebounds per game.
Brayden Carlson and Cody Larson of SDSU earned league honors for the first times in their respective careers, both on the second team. Larson also eared a spot on the league’s all-newcomer team.
Senior Trevor Gruis and junior Brandon Bos of USD gained honorable mention All-Summit League honors as the league released its all-league teams on Thursday. The teams were selected by the league’s head coaches, sports information directors and media.
