South Dakota sophomore guard Ciara Duffy has been named the Summit League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, earning the honor for the second consecutive week.
Duffy collects her second career weekly honor after leading the Coyotes to a pair of road victories at North Dakota State and defending league champion Western Illinois. The sophomore averaged 18.5 points, five rebounds, 4.5 assists and a steal per game.
A native of Rapid City, South Dakota, Duffy has tallied six consecutive double figure games since her return to the starting lineup. She’s averaging 20.3 points and 6.7 boards in Summit action, which ranks second and third in the league, respectively.
