Autopsy findings show drugs were involved in a 2016 shooting that left one man dead and a Mankato Minnesota police officer with traumatic brain injuries. Reports show 33-year-old Chad Tuseth had ecstasy and other drugs in his system when he was shot and killed last New Years Eve by Mankato DPS officer Gary Schnorenberg. The officer will not face any charges, but Mankato DPS Commander Todd Miller says Schnorenberg sustained head injuries that will cost him his career.
While attempting to subdue Tuseth before the shooting, Schnorenberg was kicked repeatedly and sustained cuts on the side of his head. He was later diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome.
