A bill that creates more transparency in prescription drug pricing is moving forward at the State Capitol in Minnesota.

But Christina Moorhead with the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers of America says the bill could lead to more “gray market” drugs
Morrison’s bill would require that pharmaceutical companies have prices for existing, new and newly acquired drugs reviewed by the Department of Health and posted on a public website. A companion bill from Republican Julie Rosen of Vernon Center is making its way through the Senate.
