Drones are becoming more popular with agriculture.  At various farm shows, including the recent Dakota Farm Show at Vermillion, farmers are asking questions of the use of drones.  Kevin Knoor with Volitan Drone Technology Solutions explains how drones cand be used in agriculture.

Knoor says drones are used to apply pesticides, as well as being used as a seeder for cover crops.

Knoor says drone technology is growing among those in agriculture.  He says cattle producers are purchasing drones to check their cattle herds in pastures, and farmers are using drones to check their fields.
