The House and Senate Redistricting Committees meet again Monday in an attempt to come up with an agreement on a new legislative map.
Senator Art Rusch of Vermillion says some of the maps would be bad for districts in southeast South Dakota….
Rusch says uneven population growth is a problem in drawing good districts….
If legislators can’t agree on a new map, then the state Supreme Court would draw up the map….
A special session of the legislature has been scheduled for November 8th to vote on a new map.
