Barry Dunn looks to the future as he was inaugurated as the 20th President of South Dakota State University. The ceremony was held outdoors this week at the University’s Coolidge Sylvan Theater.
Dunn has experienced life on the campus as undergraduate student, alumnus, graduate student, faculty member, dean and now president.
During his address, Dunn spoke of the importance of the university being prepared to deal with a much more diverse South Dakota…
Dunn also made a commitment to furthering research at the land grant university…
He also announced the creation of a new program called “Imagine…”..
Dunn was announced as State’s president April 25 and took office May 23.
The inauguration event served as his official installation.
