The College World Series comes down to two teams in a best of three format starting in Omaha Monday night.
The survivors in the eight team tourney are Michigan and Vanderbilt. They will meet at 6 p.m. Monday to begin the final showdown.
The two teams are headed by coaches very familiar with one another. Michigan’s Erik Bakich says Vanderbilt’s Tim Corbin has been the biggest influence on him as he’s gone through his coaching career.
Bakich was a Vandy assistant for seven years until 2009. Corbin says he’s proud of what Bakich has accomplished.
