This week the Environmental Protection Agency withdrew its approval of Dow Chemical’s Enlist DUO herbicide. The move came just over a year after enlist duo was sanctioned by the EPA for use in six states. In a prepared statement, Dow Chemical spokeswoman Rachelle Schikorra responds to the agencies decision.

About a year ago, the EPA had approved Enlist DUO, but following the Center for Food Safety and Earth Justice sued the agency arguing it had failed to adequately consider the pesticide’s effects on endangered plants and animals.
