Dordt University of Sioux Center is entering a partnership with a farm equipment dealership offering interested students an opportunity to obtain a two-year degree in training as a technician.  The agreement with Agri-Vision will be announced on Wednesday afternoon.  Gary DeVries is the department chair for Dordt’s agriculture division and tells of the created partnership with the John Deere dealer.

DeVries says the partnership program has been in the planning stage for a few years.

Classes for the technician course will begin in the 2024 fall semester.  Agri-Vision has 17 dealer locations.
