A recent donation of over three million dollars to Mount Marty College highlights the importance of fund raising for small, private colleges.
Mount Marty President Marc Long says they appreciate the support they have found…..

The estate of Marian Pyper (piper) of Hartington made the donation, which is the largest in the history of the college. Pyper graduated from Mount Marty high school in the 1930s.

Long says those type of donations are a lifeline to colleges like Mount Marty…..

Earlier this year, the Benedictine Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery donated two point two five million dollars to honor the schools 80th anniversary.
