Donations are coming into the Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Disaster Relief fund to help flood victims in the state. Cedar County will be getting a bridge that’s being delivered from a recycling business in Virginia. Pete Reed is driving the truck hauling the bridge.

He says his friend Jesse Wise who owns a services and recycling scrap metal business came up with the bridge and asked Reed if he’d haul it to Coleridge.

Reed says to his knowledge it looks like a very sturdy bridge.

Reed says he also read about a six year old boy in Utah, Kai Baldwin who saw a news story about the flooding in Nebraska and help raise over $285 dollars and donated it to the Nebraska Farm Bureau Disaster Relief Fund.
