Doane’s women and men swept team titles at the 2016 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The multi-events were held at Fuhrer Fieldhouse on the campus of Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.
The Tiger women scored 201.83 points while the Doane men tallied 168 points in winning their respective GPAC titles.
Kim Wood from Concordia was the female outstanding athlete of the meet, while Kale Wolken from Doane earned male outstanding athlete honors. Wood scored 41 points, while Wolken talled 31 points for the meet.
There were 10 meet records set over the 2 days in the GPAC Championships:

5. Women’s 600 Meters – Kim Wood, Concordia (1:32.92)
6. Women’s 1000 Meters – Kim Wood, Concordia (2:57)
7. Women’s Mile – Kim Wood, Concordia (4:51.41)
8. Women’s 4×800 Relay – Doane (9:22.84)
9. Women’s Weight Throw – Kali Robb, Concordia (62-01.75)
10. Women’s 4×400 Relay – Nebraska Wesleyan (3:49.65)
