One of the last bills passed by Congress before they left Washington for their two-week break was a continuing resolution to fund the federal government through late November.
South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson voted “no” on the bill but says it was not a protest vote…
Johnson says he would have preferred to stay in Washington and work out a real spending plan..
The House has passed a number of bills that are stalled in the Senate. Johnson says that is another part of divided government….
Members of Congress return to session on October 15th.
