Dive In Yankton Holds Final Public Presentation

The group. “Dive In Yankton” held their final public presentation on their proposal for a new aquatic facility in Memorial Park.
The plan would replace the over seventy-year-old pool with an extensive water park. Total cost of the park is projected at over fourteen million dollars.
The City of Yankton has set aside two million dollars in next years budget, Dive In Yankton is pledging at least one million dollars, which would leave about twelve million dollars to be raised through a property tax opt out.

Yankton Mayor Nathan Johnson says he sees it as a major community benefit.
