Four candidates running for two South Dakota House seats from District 18 answered questions Thursday night at a forum sponsored by the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce.
One question asked why tax revenue is mixed, instead of used for a specific program. Incumbent republican Jean Hunhoff says the lottery funds are a good example…..

Democrat David Allen says he would like to see more clarity in taxing….
Incumbent republican Mike Stevens says anyone can see where the money comes from and where it goes…..

Democrat Peter Rossiter says the state needs more revenue, and is missing an obvious source…..

Democrat Senator-elect Craig Kennedy also took part in the forum. He is unopposed, and will take his seat in January.
