Discussion Continues on Minnesota Bonding Bill

Republicans and some Democrats voted “yes” as the Minnesota House this passed an 825-million-dollar bonding bill for state public works projects — about half of what Governor Mark Dayton requested.  Grove City Republican Dean Urdahl told his colleagues

 

But Governor Mark Dayton opposes taking 41 million dollars from the Vikings Stadium Reserve Fund to build three new veterans homes in Bemidji, Montevideo and Preston:

Dayton isn’t saying whether he’d sign the bill as it stands.  The Senate hasn’t yet passed its bill.
