New development is coming to the Devils Nest area on the south side of Lewis & Clark Lake.

Wayne architect Jill Broderson says she and her father, Rod Tompkins, bought a large chunk of the former housing area….

Broderson says there is some infrastructure in place to help with their planning….

Broderson says the area will appeal to a wide variety of people…

The Devils Nest area was first developed in the 1960s with a ski lift, golf course and yacht club designed to attract people from all over the country. That fell on hard times and many of those improvements were abandoned.
