State Auditor Mike Foley says the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has failed to use all of the federal dollars available to the state.
Foley says auditors in his office have pinpointed 15-Million dollars in federal money left on the table. . .
Foley says HHS missed a chance to save on Nebraska tax dollars.
Foley suggests that HHS needs to hire accountants to tighten its use of money.
Foley becomes the next Lt. Governor and has expressed interest in helping to re-shape the department under the administration of Governor-elect Pete Ricketts.
