Two democratic candidates have announced their intentions to run for District 18 state House seats.

Terry Crandall and Ryan Cwach, both of Yankton, will seek the seats now held by republicans Jean Hunhoff and Mike Stevens.

Crandall says the legislature has been a long time goal…..

Crandall says he has a number of issues he is interested in….

Cwach says the legislature doesn’t always focus on important issues…..

Cwach says there needs to be more attention on elder care….

Hunhoff has said she is running for re-election, Stevens has not yet made a decision.
