Delmont Residents Begin Recovery

Many residents of Delmont are working through the rubble, trying to pick up the pieces after a Sunday morning tornado tore through much of their small town.

The entire town was evacuated on Sunday because of the damage.

Emergency services said about forty structures were damaged, with about twenty five destroyed. The National Guard is assisting in the cleanup. The Highway Patrol along with county and local officials are also in the area.
