The Delmont Volunteer Fire Department took a direct hit in Sunday’s tornado.

The new fire hall was finished in January, and had not yet been officially dedicated. The town had damage to about forty structures, including about twenty five homes totally destroyed. The down town business area, including their restaurant missed most of the damaging winds.
