Nebraska state Senators will have several bills on school funding and state aid to education to debate this session.

Senator Tom Briese of Albion is the sponsor of several of those and says the goal is funding schools while rolling back property taxes….

Briese says there are a number of issue that are being negotiated….

Briese says most schools should not see a drop in their funding….

Governor Jim Pillen has introduced a broad package of tax cut and school funding bills. Those are still going through the committee hearing process.
