The Yankton City Commission had another work session Monday night refining an ordinance controlling the sales of medical marijuana.
City Attorney Ross Den Herder outlined how a person will get a medical marijuana prescription….

The commission took no action at the work session. A proposed ordinance would be introduced at a future meeting.
The state Health Department has just asked for proposals for a patient registry, verification, and licensing system. The new law takes effect on July first.
