Nebraska Senators voted 32 to 15 yesterday to repeal the death penalty. That was on final reading so the bill now goes to Governor Pete Ricketts, who has made his feelings clear.

Rickets says he will continue to talk to Senators about the issue.

Rickets says he thinks many Senators don’t listen to the people in their districts.

The veto and override vote will probably happen next week.
