Opponents to the death penalty in South Dakota will present a package of bills to a Senate committee tomorrow (Wednesday).

Senator Bernie Hunhoff of Yankton says the US is on the wrong side of this issue…

 

Hunhoff says there is no evidence to support the death penalty as an effective deterrent…

 

Hunhoff says they have a bi-partisan group supporting the death penalty repeal bills…

 

Those bills will be heard in the Senate State Affairs Committee tomorrow morning.
