Mitchell police are investigating after finding the body of a man on the railroad tracks below a viaduct. The Mitchell Department of Public Safety received a report of a man lying on the tracks at around 9:00 Friday morning. The man is a 57-year old Mitchell resident. His name has not been released pending notification of family members. An autopsy is pending. There is no indication of foul play at this time.
