South Dakota Wheat incorporated is holding a wheat yield contest for both spring and winter wheat. State Wheat Commission Executive Director Reid hristopherson says they’ll have first and second place prizes for both wheat classes.
Christopherson says there are several advantages to holding this type of contest and they hope to be able to utilize the agronomic information they gain from the contest results.
