Mike Daum earned more national recognition Monday, as the South Dakota State junior was announced as one of 40 selections on the CollegeInsider.com Lute Olson Award Watch List.

The Lute Olson Award is presented annually to the nation’s top Division I player who has played at least two seasons.

Daum is also on the Oscar Robertson Trophy and Karl Malone Award watch lists in addition being named the Summit League’s Preseason Player of the Year. He averaged 25.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game last season.
