South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard easily won re-election to a second term in yesterday’s voting.
He defeated democrat Susan Wismer and independent Mike Myers.

Daugaard has already said he will not run for any other office when his term expires, instead retiring to his farm near Dell Rapids.
