The South Dakota State women’s basketball team (28-6) will play for a spot in the Elite Eight when they play No. 2 seed and seventh-ranked Oregon (31-4) Friday at 10 p.m. in the 2019 NCAA Tournament in Portland, Oregon.

The winner of Friday’s game advances to the Elite Eight against the winner of the Mississippi State and Arizona State game at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Winners of its last 18 games, SDSU upset No. 3 seeded and 12th-ranked Syracuse, 75-67, Monday. The senior duo of Madison Guebert and Macy Miller led four Jackrabbits in double figures. Guebert had a game-high 20 points, including six 3-pointers, and Miller recorded her third consecutive double-double with 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
