Dakota State University in Madison has received thirty million dollars in private donations, and another thirty million in public pledges to build its cybersecurity program.

The announcement came as part of the dedication of the new eleven million dollar Beacom Institute of Technology.
Senator Mike Rounds says the expanded center will help create instate opportunities for Dakota State graduates…..

South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard says the state will contribute ten million dollars from the future fund, with twenty million dollars from the federal government making up the balance.
