Energy Transfer Partners, the company that built the Dakota Access Oil Pipeline has made donations to emergency responders in the counties the pipeline crosses.

Dakota Access will make similar donations to county emergency management departments across its four-state route, totaling one million dollars across 50 counties in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Illinois. The company has also give the State of North Dakota fifteen million dollars for protest related expenses.
