The Dakota Access Pipeline Company is seeking a restraining order against BOLD Iowa and its director Ed Fallon. Fallon says the pipeline company is calling for and taking desperate steps to stop peaceful protestors of their project.

He says Dakota Access is making outlandish charges against him and his company, plus others opposing their project which would take Bakken oil from North Dakota across South Dakota and Iowa into Illinois.

Fallon says BOLD Iowa is committed to peaceful protests to show their opposition to the pipeline.

More than 1100 citizens have signed the Bakken Pipeline Pledge of Resistance organized by BOLD Iowa and its partners, the Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement and CREDO Action.
