Last week South Dakota Dairy Producers Association President Marv Post took part in the annual convention of the National Milk Producer’s Federation and the dairy checkoff organizations including the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board and the United Dairy Industry Association. Post says at the conference they were able to bring together policy and promotional efforts to benefit the entire industry.

He says its important all the dairy groups come together to effect meaningful policy for all sectors of the industry.

Post says their new promotional slogan is ‘every drop counts’ and the dairy checkoff is working on many exciting promotional and research projects.

Post says research findings will soon be released on the benefits of having milk in the diet for physical and mental health.
