Alexis Conway and Samara West had 10 kills apiece in leading Iowa State past South Dakota Tuesday in non-conference volleyball play at Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

Scores were 25-11, 25-12 and 25-21.

The win ended a two-game skid for the Cyclones (9-8), who were coming off last week’s losses to sixth-ranked Kansas and fourth-ranked Texas. South Dakota (17-3) lost for the first time in its new facility and saw its six-game win streak come to an end.

Iowa State led 9-3 in each of the first two sets and maintained control throughout. Conway had five kills on six attempts in set one when the Cyclones hit .471. West led Iowa State with four kills in set two.
