Iowa State has broken into the Associated Press college football poll at #23 this week.
The Cyclones ran their record to 5-3 to join the poll for the first time this season.
Fellow Big 12 team West Virginia has re-entered the top 10 at number seven.
No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson and No. 3 Notre Dame remained unchanged. No. 4 Michigan, No. 5 Georgia and No. 6 Oklahoma each moved up a spot.
